GL Africa Energy 'GLAE' is delivering cutting-edge power plants and offering viable energy systems to off-grid companies.
GLAE owns and operates a 105MW power plant in the copper belt town of Ndola, Zambia, under Ndola Energy Company Limited (NECL). The company has a power purchase agreement with the Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO), supplying power directly to the Zambian national grid.
Additionally, GLAE was awarded a concession agreement by the Government of Mozambique to build and operate a 250 MW gas-powered plant.

GL Africa Energy, through Ndola Energy Company Limited 'NECL', owns and operates a 105MW thermal power plant. The project was completed in 2017 in two phases, with phase 1 producing 48 MW and phase 2 producing 57 MW.
NECL is a full member of the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), where it is able to purchase and sell power in the competitively priced SAPP markets.
